Ways Of Seeing
In 1985, Eric Avery purchased several photo engravings by Sue Coe from PPOW Gallery in NYC. The artists became friends. Over the next 40 years, Sue gifted him 83 of her prints. In 1994, she visited him in his AIDS psychiatry clinic at UTMB in Galveston. In 1996 she visited his psychiatry TDCJ prision clinic. Her TAMIU exhibit was curated by Kassandra Romero from the gifts and visits.
