Picasso's antifascist 1935 etching Minotauromacy is appropriated. The Minotaur is replaced by a Hummer, patched with sheets of metal, kitchen pots and pans, a refrigerator door (turned inside out) holding beer. Frightened US soldiers are locked inside. Looking out the back window "Kilroy is here" image from World War II. A child "better to light a candle than to curse the darkness" stands in front of the Hummer. An unexploded artillery shell with cell phone attached is positioned to explode when the Hummer passes. A US surveillance/gun aircraft flies overhead. | ||||||||||||||||||||
