For the action, health care providers and consenting HIV patients from the Cambridge Hospital's Zinberg HIV Clinic moved their clinic into the small clinical art space and practiced medicine as art.

The event was organized by Marjorie Cohn, Carl A. Weyerhaeuser Curator of Prints, Fogg Art Museum, and was sponsored by the Harvard University Arts Committee on AIDS and the Harvard/Radcliffe Office for the Arts.
